Our Editor's Review of the BlueAir HealthProtect 7700i Air Purifier
The Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is the best of the HealthProtect family. It has a high-quality LCD screen on the top that shows detailed air quality information. It also has the new and improved SpiralAir outlets, which are only found on Blueair products. Its airflow system is better than ever because it lets out clean air from both the top and the sides. This airflow system makes it possible to clean the air better.

Our hands-on test shows the beneficial features of the BlueAir HealthProtect 7700i air purifier
We measure how well the air purifier works by looking at the quality and material of its air filters and the number of different types of air filters.
The Blueair HealthProtect 7770i uses HEPASilent Ultra technology to keep the air in your home clean. Using electrostatic charging and mechanical filtration, the Blueair HealthProtect 7770i can trap tiny particles on the filter. This technology works 99.97% of the time to get rid of airborne particles smaller than 0.1 microns which is far better than a regular HEPA filter.

Electrostatic charging makes airborne particles “sticky” to the mechanical filter, which is already a True HEPA filter that catches most ultrafine particles. So instead of just going through, smaller particles stick to the filter. The filter mesh gets rid of the more significant pieces.
Once viruses and bacteria are caught, an electrical charge and airflow kill them. This also keeps bacteria from growing inside the air purifier itself. This GermShield technology is only found in the HealthProtect family, and the Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is the best machine that gets the best results.

Lastly, all Blueair air filters are antibacterial by nature and can be recycled fully. It has no chemicals or fillers, and it is environmentally friendly.
The amount of noise this air purifier made was pretty impressive to us. Using that HEPASilent Ultra-filtration technology, which measures 30dB at its quietest and 65dB at its loudest, it is quiet. We didn't have any trouble with it, even at night.
This air purifier can be controlled by voice and app. You can check the air quality in your home and change the settings from your phone, tablet, Alexa-enabled device, or Google Assistant-enabled device.

This HealthProtect 7770i has an intelligent sensor called ETA that keeps track of coarse particles (PM10) like dust, pollen, mould spores, and ash and fine particles (PM2.5 and PM1) like smoke, viruses, and bacteria. If the pollution level is high, the Auto Mode can automatically make the fan speed faster until the air is clean. The HealthProtect 7770i also gives you information about temperature and humidity. It even keeps track of how much filter you use and tells you how much is left in real-time.

The app was not something we liked very much. It takes too long to connect to the purifier, and there is a bothersome delay when changing the power level or turning on auto mode. It's not the worst app we've ever used, but it doesn't feel as high-end as the device itself. Alexa and Google control work better if you remember the proper control phrases.

It is a gorgeous-looking air purifier that goes big in every way imaginable, with improved HEPASilent Ultra technology that you’ve seen for the first time, strong fan power and top-notch additional features.

While Blueair does not claim that the HealthProtect 7700i will protect you against Covid or Sars, it does filter particulates tiny enough to cause illness. Separately, an efficiency test was conducted by a recognized biosafety lab, MRIGlobal, and the results revealed that the HealthProtect series of air purifiers effectively eradicated at least 99.9% of the live airborne virus (SARS-CoV-2) from a 0.37 m3 biosafety lab test chamber. Cons: What we did not like so much about the BlueAir HealthProtect 7700i Air Purifier and what we felt could be improved
The first thing you'll notice when you open the box is a obvious glaring blue LED light that shows you the air quality. The machine operates with a bright blue bar under normal circumstances, brighter than most common household appliances LEDs I have noticed. When turned on, other Blueair purifiers show a tiny blue button, which is bothersome enough, but this one is so big that I can literally read beside it. Blue is the hue that scientists have found to be the most effective in hindering sleep. I think they could have used a softer hue.
Additionally, turning the light off is only possible via the app.
For full manual control, unfortunately you need to do it via the app. There are no manual controls on the device itself for full control. To fully operate the device, you have to install the Blueair application, unless you simply want to leave it operating on automatic constantly and manually turn the unit on and off (we only have command over the airflow (0–3 or auto).
Editor's Review Summary – Our findings show the Blueair HealthProtect 7770i Air Purifier is Worth It, Good For Health And Helps Remove Dust
The Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is the best air purifier you can buy. The Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is the best if you want to clean the air in a room up to 670 square feet and want the best performance. It has the best performance and is smart, making your life much easier.

We liked that the sensor would change the light bar's colour along the top edge of the machine to indicate that the device was doing what it was supposed to do.
Luckily, most of ours lit up bright blue, which means the air quality was good. Interesting fact: if we made toast in the kitchen with the machine in the living room, it would glow yellow. After someone went to the toilet downstairs, we even got a red, which means “very polluted.” We think the Blueair was pointing out the effects of what was going on in the bathroom, and if that's the case, its sensors are pretty impressive.

Aside from that, we love the clean design and how easy it is to do essential maintenance on the machine, like vacuuming the filter areas when necessary. The appliance will also let you know when it's time to change the filters, which is crucial if you have allergies and know how important good air quality is. There are cheaper models on the market, but everything about the Blueair HealthProtect 7770i air purifier says “quality.”
