The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde is a cooling fan and air purifier in one device. It continuously checked our air quality, cleansed it automatically, and removed toxins, leaving us with beautiful, clean, cool air to breathe. The filtering system is a HEPA H13 certified sealed system (pass up 0.05 per cent of 0.1-micron particles per litre of air). Nickel/gold (tested) and we had the colour option between white or gold to choose from.
A setback though is that we found that the fan was still quite weak and noise level was quite loud. Apart than this, we found that it was both a highly effective air cleaner and a more-than-adequate cooling fan. When we combine that with Dyson’s high-tech good looks, we got ourselves a very lovely multi-purpose device. This should be on your shortlist of options if you’re looking for an air purifier and the price doesn’t deter you. If formaldehyde isn’t an issue for you, check out the TP04 model, which offers all of the same features at a lesser price.

Its five-stage purification solution includes PureProtect to neutralise up to 99.99% of trapped airborne, bacteria, and viruses and filters ultrafine particles as small as 3 nm. It helps reduce airborne viruses. The results we gathered from biosafety lab MRI Global indicate the effective removal of up to 99.99% of the live viruses from a 0.37m³ test chamber.
