Know the facts: Why Breathing Clean Air in Your Home is Vital for Your Health and Well-being
Indoor air quality is an integral part of our health and well-being. Most of us think that air pollution only happens outside, but the truth is that the quality of the air indoors can be just as bad as, or even worse than, the outside air quality. Pollutants and particles can get stuck indoors, dirtying the air indoors.
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says that the air inside can be anywhere from two to five times more polluted than outside air. This can cause several health problems, such as allergies, asthma, and breathing problems.
Many things can change the quality of the air we breathe indoors, such as ventilation, humidity, and the presence of pollutants. Pollutants can build up in places with inadequate ventilation, and mould and other harmful organisms can grow in areas with high humidity. Indoor air quality can also be affected by dust, pollen, and chemicals from cleaning products, building materials, and air fresheners.
Poor indoor air quality can make people sick, from getting headaches and low energy levels to having trouble breathing and even getting cancer. Some common pollutants in indoor air are:
- Dust and dust mites
- Mildew and mould
- Pet dander
- VOCs from paints, cleaners, and other products in tobacco smoke
Children and older people are especially likely to get sick from bad indoor air quality. Children are more likely to get respiratory infections, asthma, and other health problems, while the elderly may have weakened immune systems and be more sensitive to pollutants in the air. Indoor air pollutants can also affect the development of a foetus and raise the risk of birth defects. Pregnant women should be careful about how much they are exposed to these pollutants.
You can remove harmful particles from the air by using an air purifier like the Wells Interior Air Purifier, making it cleaner and healthier. Air purifiers can help reduce the risk of breathing problems, allergies, and other health problems by eliminating harmful particles in the air.
In addition to being good for your health, improving the air quality inside your home can make it more comfortable and enjoyable. Air purifiers can help make a space more pleasant and inviting by eliminating bad smells and reducing the amount of dust and other particles in the air. This is especially important for study rooms and bedrooms, where clean, fresh air is needed for focusing, relaxing, and getting a good night’s sleep.
Dismantling and Reassembling the Wells Interior. Our Editor’s Recommended Step-by-Step Guide to Install and Setting up Your Wells Interior Air Purifier.
Even though every air purifier needs to be set up before it can be used for the first time, In my tests and review, I was surprised that the Wells Interior Air Purifier needs almost no setup. It’s easy to understand and a joy to use.
After removing the safety protective plastic wraps from the filters and putting them back in place, I only needed to take the power adapter out of the box, plug it in, then plug the device in and turn it on. Special tip: I would also suggest putting the air purifier on a flat, hard surface and moving it at least 8 cm away from walls or other things.
Design and Build Quality Test and Benchmarking: How the Wells Interior Air Purifier Exceeded My Expectations!
I have nothing but good things to say about how the Wells Interior Air Purifier was made and its compact form factor. This air purifier is sleek, modern, well-built, has a practical and lovely design, and will go with any decor style.
One thing I like in particular about how the Wells Interior Air Purifier is made is its small size. The device measures at only 360mm x 173mm x 360mm and weighs only 5kg. This air purifier is made to be used in study rooms and bedrooms. It is small enough to fit on a desk, nightstand, or mount on the wall without taking up too much space. But even though the air purifier is small, from my tests ran, it was still powerful enough to clean the air in a room.
The Wells Interior Air Purifier is also easy to use. I could tell a lot of consideration was taken into account when thinking about its usability and functions. This same user-friendly experience is at the Wells Brand’s core focus; to design highly functional and practical products that offer a great user experience. (Check out my review of the Wells the One Water Dispenser to see what I’m raving about.) The controls are easy to use and allow you to change different modes, the fan’s speed, and set a timer. The air quality in the room is shown on the display LED, which is a helpful feature that lets you see how the air purifier is processing dirty air into clean air in real time.
The Wells Interior Air Purifier feels very solid and sturdy in terms of how it was put together. The outside of the air purifier is made of high-quality materials that feel strong and long-lasting. It is also made to be easy to clean and take care of.
Overall, the Wells Interior Air Purifier gets my vote of confidence for a well-made product and has a great design. This air purifier is an awesome all-rounder, easy to carry around, and easy to operate. It is also made to last and will stand the test of time. The Wells Interior Air Purifier is an excellent choice if you want an air purifier that works well and looks great in your study room or bedroom.
Automation on the Wells Interior Air Purifier: Effortlessly Achieve Clean Air Using the Set-and-Forget Control
Based on our tests, the Wells Interior Air Purifier is a modern and intelligent device that we could set up and use easily to purify the air in our test environment (My home).
With the controls on the top of the air purifier, you can change how it works and the fan speed and also set a timer. The controls work well and are simple to use. The air quality in the room is shown on the display on the front of the air purifier. This is a helpful feature that lets you see how the air purifier is making the air better.
Test Readings for its Air Flow, Room Coverage and CADR (How large should your room be for the Wells Interior Air Purifier to work well?)
The Wells Interior Air Purifier can deliver up to 101 cubic meters of clean air per hour (CADR of 101m3/h). This means that, depending on the size of the room and how fast the fan is set, it can move the air in a small to medium-sized room several times per hour.
The CADR is a standard rating system that examines how well an air purifier gets rid of different airborne particles. The better an air purifier removes pollutants, the higher the CADR.
Wells says this air purifier can be used in rooms up to 19.8 square meters (213 sq. ft.). But it can also be used in bigger rooms, though its ability to clean the air may be less effective in bigger spaces. According to the AHAM standards, this air purifier would work best in rooms up to 200 sq. ft., where the Wells Interior Air Purifier can clean the air 5 times an hour.
Even though the Wells Interior Air Purifier might not be the most powerful air purifier on the market, it is made to be used in smaller rooms like study rooms and bedrooms, where it can effectively improve air quality. If your room is more extensive or there is more pollution in the air, you should get an air purifier that is bigger or has more power.
This small, stylish air purifier will work in many rooms and work exceptionally well in a small living room, bedroom, kitchen, or office. Based on my tests, this air purifier is suitable for rooms around 200 to 250 sq. ft. which will still clean the air 4 times an hour.
So, What Exactly Makes their purification technology good? How did we rate it? We go through the Revolutionary Purification Technology of Wells Interior Air Purifier
The Wells Interior Air Purification uses a 4-stage purification system that is ultra-efficient. It has an ultra-fine pre-filter, an ultra-fine dust filter, an activated carbon (deodorisation) filter, and an H14 Zero Clear HEPA 14-class filter.
How Did the Filters Perform in our Tests?
As for the overall quality of the filters in the Wells Interior Air Purifier, I’m very happy with it. It’s highly effective at removing even the smallest airborne particles. This level of purification ensures that the air in your room is as clean and healthy as possible.
The first stage is an ultra-fine pre-filter that catches larger particles like dust and pet hair. The second stage is an ultrafine dust filter that separates PM10 (10 microns) airborne particles like soot, dust and spores. The activated carbon filter in the third stage removes smells and harmful gases. Lastly, a Zero Clear HEPA 14 class filter gets 99.997% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This includes pollen, smoke, and bacteria.
Benchmarking the Wells Interior Air Purifier’s Zero Clear HEPA-14 Filter vs Other HEPA Types in the Air Purifier Marketplace
The Wells Interior Air Purifier’s Zero Clear HEPA 14 filter is designed to be highly efficient at removing even the smallest airborne particles. With a filtration efficiency of 99.997% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, it is more effective than most of the filters of the other air purifiers on the market.
As you can see, the Wells Zero Clear HEPA 14 filter is the best of the group. It can catch particles as small as 0.3 microns with a 99.997% success rate. HEPA 13 is also very good at what it does. It can catch 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. HEPA 12 and 11 are good filters that catch 99.5% and 95% of particles, respectively, but they may not be enough for people with severe allergies or breathing problems.
Important Tip from Our Editors: What other aspects should you focus on when buying an air purifier?
When looking for an air purifier, you should think about the type of filter, how well it works, and the size and shape of the air purifier itself. A good air purifier will have more than one filter and a high CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) to ensure it cleans your room’s air well. The Wells Interior Air Purifier has a 4-stage purification system that includes an ultra-fine pre-filter, an ultra-fine dust filter, an activated carbon deodorization filter, and a Zero Clear HEPA 14 filter. This makes it an effective and efficient choice for improving the air quality in your study room or bedroom.

How do I replace the Wells Interior Air Purifier filter? Is it a struggle even for a Novice user?
The ultra-fine pre-filter and ultra-fine dust filters in the Wells Interior are washable while the activated carbon deodorisation filter and Zero-Clear HEPA 14 can’t be washed, so you have to replace them. On average, this is between 6 and 12 months, but it depends on how often and where you use the air purifier.
The filter can be changed without much trouble. Remove the front cover, remove the old filter and put in a new one.
Silencing the Competition: The Impressive Noise Level Test of Wells Interior’s Air Purifier
One thing that worries many people about air purifiers is their loudness. After all, if you want to use an air purifier in your bedroom or study room, you don’t want it to be so loud that it keeps you up at night or gets in the way of your work.
I tested how loud this air purifier is in auto, study, and sleep modes and at low, medium, and full fan speeds. This should give you a good idea of how loud this model is. The sound level tester was placed 30 centimetres away from the air outlet of the air purifier.
I’m happy this air purifier doesn’t make much noise, even when the fan goes as fast as possible. The manufacturer says the noise level is between 30 and 55 decibels (±5 decibels), about the same as a whisper or a quiet conversation. The noise level was barely noticeable even when I was sitting right next to the air purifier and only had it on Auto, Study, or Sleep mode.
The noise level will depend on how your room is set up and how close you are to the air purifier. Overall, I was impressed with the Wells Interior Air Purifier’s quiet, especially in light of how effectively it filters harmful particles from the air.
In Sleep mode, this air purifier makes only 35.7 dBA (±5 decibels) of noise, which is pretty quiet. So, you can use it without any problems in a bedroom or a similar room. Wells Interior records 36.3 dBa of noise in both Auto and Study modes. The Wells Interior makes 37.2 dBA, 43.3 dBA and 53.0 dBA, in low, medium and high fan speed modes respectively. Overall, this device makes much less than some other air purifiers in the same class.
Overall, the Wells Interior Air Purifier is a good choice if you want an air purifier that won’t keep you up at night or make it hard to concentrate. It doesn’t make much noise, so you can enjoy cleaner air without distracting sounds.
Impressive Feature: The Cutting-Edge Wells Interior Advanced Triple Sensor and Indicator
The Advanced Triple Sensor and Indicator are among the best things about the Wells Interior Air Purifier. With this feature, the air purifier can automatically check the air quality in the room and change its settings to match the environment’s air quality.
The three sensors in the triple-sensor system can pick up on particles, smells, and light. The particle sensor checks how many particles are in the air and changes the fan’s speed to ensure the air is filtered well. If the room smells terrible, the odour sensor will turn on the activated carbon filter to eliminate them. The light sensor checks how bright the room is and adjusts the mode and speed of the fan so that it doesn’t wake you up at night.
The air purifier has a colour-coded indicator that shows the air quality in the room right now. When the air is good (PM2.5 below 50), the light on the indicator turns blue. It shines green when the air isn’t too bad (PM2.5 between 50 and 75). Amber light shows that the air quality is below average (PM2.5 between 75 and 150). And when the air is bad, it shines red (PM2.5 above 150). This is a beneficial feature because it lets you see in real-time what effect the air purifier has on air quality. If the indicator is often in the yellow or red zone, you may need to clean or replace the filters.
What we liked about this feature:Overall, the Wells Interior Air Purifier’s Advanced Triple Sensor and Indicator is a useful feature that makes it easy to check the air quality in your room and ensure the air purifier is working well. This air purifier makes it easy to keep the air in your study room or bedroom clean and healthy because it changes its settings based on the air quality.
Running our Tabacco Smoke Test: The Wells Interior Air Purifier’s Battle Against the Cigarette Smoke
The Wells Interior Air Purifier can clean the air in an area of up to 19.8 square metres (213 sq. ft.). This coverage specification comes from the manufacturer. But when I test the air quality, I’m more interested in how well the Wells Interior Air Purifier works against tobacco smoke and propylene glycol vapour (Vape Smoke Emittance).
My summary of the Smoke test: Overall, I’m very happy with how well this device works and how well it has done in all of the tests. The Wells Interior Air Purifier can get rid of the smell and lower the PM2.5 particles in a short amount of time (the readings from the Air Quality Tester are dropping). I’m also surprised that the Well Interior Air Purifier could pick up the smoke & smell of cigarettes and propylene glycol vapour from 2 metres away.
