Any recommendations for a good steakhouse dinner?
Everyone will like Fat Belly Steakhouse in Serene Centre. The Botanic Gardens and FB are within walking distance, making this a fantastic choice for a pre-dinner stroll.
We started with Fried Camembert. A cheese fan like me thoroughly appreciated the dish. Truffle Honey dipped it to a new level of flavour. A kale salad and steamed broccoli completed our meal.
They possessed a unique sense of style. I couldn’t get enough of the Kale Salad’s creamy texture. Denver and Ribeye steak were our main dishes. When it came out of the oven, it was medium-rare. Loved it.
On Monday, they were offering a one-for-one deal on Aperol Spirit. All in all, I think this is a great product! When we’re in the mood for a delicious steak, we always go to Cut by Wolfgang Puck.
Red wine was ordered; sadly, we weren’t happy with the taste. The wine sommelier came to our aid immediately and offered a new bottle of wine that we were looking for. Wine, meal, and service were all top-notch.
Now At Shops Marina Sands, it’s easy to get to. Best steak tartare for several years and sizzling Wagyu beef ribeye are Mr Paul Joseph’s top priorities when it comes to pleasing his guests!
The wine list is extensive and moderately priced for Singapore, which is unusual for the city. The personnel here is fantastic.
Where to go for an excellent French DInner in Singapore?
Over the weekend, my friends and I celebrated my birthday at the Whitegrass in Chijmes, located at 30 Victoria Street #01-26. The setting is stunning, and the food lives up to expectations.
I appreciate that they were aware of my dietary restrictions. The 8-course gastronomy dinner that my companion and I shared was fantastic! An awe-inspiring lunch with a great deal of care and attention to detail. Having a rotating menu every three months is a nice perk that makes us want to return again and again.
The bread and baked treats were also excellent. The service was terrific, and the head chef, Takuya, went out of his way to make everyone feel at ease by coming to greet us, taking photos, and making everyone feel at home. Down-to-earth and welcoming.
Lunch was well worth the price of admission, as was the overall experience. We rang in the new year at Chef’s Table by Chef Stephan Zoisl at 61 Tras Street with beautiful friends and a little indulgence at @chefstable 61tras, where we started the year.
We were served starters made with Egyptian star flowers, which the chef told us were grown throughout Singapore. The prawns from Argentina and fish were cooked perfectly. To eat cod is like eating butter. The wine recommendations were excellent, and the prices were reasonable as well.
The chef came up with some exciting combinations of ingredients, which I like. I’ve had some of the greatest foie gras I’ve ever had.
The combination of burrata and soy sauce was superb. I love the attention to detail that goes into every meal. It was well worth it, and I plan to return to sample more of the menu.

Our meal at the Courtyard at the Fullerton Hotel was delicious, and we loved the cosy atmosphere. It’s been a pleasure dealing with Lalikumar. He’s been pleasant, helpful, and just happy. We’d be glad to have friends come back to visit.
Christine provided excellent service as well. We are aware that the cafe’s menu will be updated each month. I’m eagerly awaiting the new menu! The savoury nibbles were a massive hit with everyone.
A full-blown effort was made to accommodate dietary preferences here—snacks with a distinct flavour and creative presentation. The desserts were so fabulous; they practically melted in your mouth. The star of the show was the Valrhona chocolate mousse.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The manager himself recommended several excellent teas for me to try. Snack refills were delivered discretely and cheerfully by the waitstaff. We were able to continue our talk uninterrupted.
Located at 10 Bayfront Avenue Marina Bay Sands Tower 3, SweetSpot is a restaurant on the first floor of the art and science museum. You can create your salad from various components at the restaurant. They use only the best ingredients, which are both fresh and delicious. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll stop by. You can’t go wrong with this cosy restaurant.
I got a croissant that tasted as if it had just risen from the oven. Later, I had a salmon bagel and some dessert when I returned a few hours later. Sweet spot convinced us to try something new instead of cheesecake, even though we both craved it.
Ultimately, we opted for these two very delicious sweets! Also, kudos to the lady who served as our customer service representative. She was delightful.
National Orchid Garden - Our Review

The most underappreciated tourist attraction in Singapore. When you enter the orchid garden, you will notice that there are many expensive orchids waiting to greet you. Please make sure your camera and mobile are fully charged before your photo shoot. The Sembcorp Cool House is a must-see. You'll also witness the celebrity orchid garden, where many orchid varieties are named after famous people... It's an orchid paradise.
The upkeep of the site astounded me, and once inside, you might think you're outside the city, lost in some forest, yet you're actually inside the city. The property is kept in excellent condition, and the staff deserves praise for their efforts. Couples and families can do some instagram shooting here.
Last Saturday, I went for a nature walk in the National Orchid Garden, which has an amazing collection of orchids. There is enough to see, as well as a new indoor gazebo with air con, which makes it enticing to remain longer. Purchase your tickets online in advance.
Cloud Forest - Our Review

The Flower Dome is lovely, but the Cloud Forest is even more so. The waterfall is breathtaking, and the orchid collection is among the finest I've seen before. A tranquil setting with numerous 'silent spaces' to sit and take in the scenery.
We were somewhat hesitant to go because, well...another greenhouse? But no! This is a stunning MONSTER waterfall that cascades over lush tropical foliage. You can even trek all the way around the mountain on winding routes with spectacular city views. It was a lot of fun and kept me fresh on a warm, humid day. Spend the money; you will not be sorry.
If you're heading towards the Gardens by the Bay (which you should be because of the Super Trees), I recommend visiting the Cloud Forest. It's a wonderful experience with several levels of watching. I walked in with no expectations, and it turned out to be way more captivating than I could have imagined.
Sands Skypark Observation Deck - Our Review

It is well worth the trip right to the summit since you really do get get some wonderful views. We were fortunate to get there because they do halt if there is lightning in the region, which came and went coincidentally the day we visited, but we still got some beautiful sceneries of Singapore.
So far, this is my favorite tourist destination in Singapore. However, I enjoy nice vistas of good cities, and this did not disappoint. Give it your best shot and appreciate the view from the top. It was beautiful to view before sunset. It wasn't really packed, which surprised me, but I suppose that's due to the times.
It was an incredible evening and definitely highlights of my trip to Singapore. You'll be able to see the hypnotic water show on the nearby lake as well as the illumination of the dragon balls in the bayside garden. A night at the Marina Bay Sands hotel is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relax in the infinity pool.
Waterfront Promenade - Our Review

The only function of Marina Bay is to make a small-town lad like me feel even smaller. To call it amazing, gorgeous, or simply wonderful is an understatement. This is the spot for glamorous high fliers to blow their easy money and flaunt their jet set lifestyle, but there is also too much beautiful things for us common people to appreciate from the ground level promenade.
The entire neighborhood was created on reclaimed soil, but the most significant aspect is the aesthetics, which blow our puny average heads away. From planning to architecture, layout, facilities, and maintenance, the number of attractions supplied here sometimes feels excessive.
The laser lightshow alone would keep me entertained for hours, but there's also a boat ride, a gigantic ferris wheel, a scientific museum, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, monuments, bars, eateries, five-star resorts, retail centers, and, of course, the renowned Sands.
F1 - Singapore Grand Prix (Seasonal!) - Our Review

The Paddock Club is the place to be and be seen if you want to experience the Singapore Grand Prix in style.
You would assume the Grand Prix is all about blazing cars, hot weather, and a lot of screeching sounds of wheels, but it can also be fanciest and opulent event for those with large wallets. The squad pit lanes, at which racers and crew operate over a race weekend, are by far the most private of all. These are ideal for Instagram stories.
I could not blame the organization of the activities; all of the employees involved, and the site, from Friday evening training to trekking on the racetrack well after race on Sunday. It was fantastic!!!
My only complaint is the cuisine. Although there is a large selection, it is fairly costly (unsurprisingly), and some of the things I purchased were served at room temperature.
I encourage you to hitch a ride on the MRT to the circuit park, where there are plenty of pleasant ushers to help you navigate. If you can only go on one day, I recommend purchasing a Practice ticket on Fridays because there are individuals and it is always simpler to watch the event on TV broadcasts. The exhilaration and adrenalin from watching the cars speed all over the racetrack on Friday is more than enough.
The Southern Ridges - Our Review
Henderson Waves
Great stroll along Henderson Waves (Mount Faber) to Kent Ridge through metal paths and through the trees. I would avoid this trip in the wet because the metal walkways become really wet, andditionally, as you are encompassed by metal structures, this definitely is indeed not safe in a rainstorm, and it is a very nice and spectacular elevation otherwise. It is around 5k from end to end.
This hike can be done in sections or as a whole, and its duration ranges several hours, depending on personal walking speed.
I choose to take things slowly, with a short trek up Mount Fabre in Vivo City. I believe there are four entrances. It is difficult to express in words, therefore consult your GPS.
The hike will then connect to the Henderson wave, an impressively designed bridge in the shape of a length of wave. From a high elevation, you may enjoy a breathtaking view of Telok Blangah neighborhood. I believe you can get a fantastic sunset view from here, though I have never been there so I'm not certain.As you proceed, we stumbled across metal flooring that provides a "tree top walk." This connects to some other bridge that spans the Hort Parl. Another fantastic site devoted to flora and gardening.
A brief hike to the back of the park leads to the BUKIT Chandu war memorial, which is located inside Kent Ridge Park.
Hike from Kent Ridge Park to Science Park, then through Ayer Rajah Industrial Estate, and finally to the One North district, which is primarily a business park with some restaurants. The nearest MRT station is One North.
This hike lasts approximately 3 hours and takes you across streets, hillsides, walkways, and gardens.
Changi Chapel and Museum - Our Review

I had a great time strolling about and absorbing the various resources available. The tales of what transpired with the POWs were both informative and frightening at times. Sadly, someone my dad knew was confined here but made it out alive. Count yourself among the fortunate.
The museum is the perfect size for taking it all in. It depicts the experiences of predominantly Australian war prisoners in a Japanese-run camp during World War II using vintage images, artifacts, handwritten verbal remarks. Also there are artistic drawings, wall paintings, and other small items that they manufactured, in addition to their notebooks, uniforms, and everyday goods. Working, studying, learning, worship, sports, songwriting, artwork, and poetry helped convicts maintain their morale in the face of congestion and little food. They were capable of growing some food and invent numerous essentials including soap and shaving equipment. The photographs of these malnourished guys glance at you with brave expressions from a traumatic history, and really, you can only admire and respect their unbreakable character.
The majority of the room is dedicated to guests' memories. While touring the museum, step into the jail cell and hear archival recordings of wartime debates. Before departing, take a look at the numerous valuable artifacts and donate.
If you can, go on a guided tour. Keep an eye on the projection display; it will enhance your entire experience. Touch or examine the intriguing items that were once the property of the inmates. Then head to the gift store to get a memento of your visit.
Clarke Quay - Our Review

This area is known for its food establishments, bars and clubs. McGettigans used to serve a decent calm pint, but it's currently undergoing refurbishment. Hooters has wonderful cuisine and magical waitresses...... the focal point is a light and water structure. The Highlander was enjoyable, but the live music may be overwhelming. Hanjip, a contemporary Korean eatery that launched recently, serves excellent Korean cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere at a cheap rate. The Singapore River is seen from some eateries.
It was really the Partying scene when they started in the late 1990s, like an expansion of the massively popular Boat Quay. From Funky Town's early days to MOS, and finally to Zouk the moment they had to relocate from Jiak Kim. There is still a significant culture of clubbing here, but an upsurge of expanding eateries and bistros has replaced pubs in the last decade or so as the tradition of partying waned and preferences shifted towards the dining sceen.
It's the ideal spot for an evening escape, with plenty of places to sit and dine or drink. A large crowd chanting in front of several restaurants, live music, a dynamic environment, and an overall enjoyable experience This is a great place to spend an evening. River cruises are also enjoyable. It provides a comprehensive history of Singapore as well as an architectural-historical journey of several sites along the river. From our boat, we also saw a fantastic light display on the MBS.
Emerald Hill - Our Review

Amazing! Emerald Hill, with its modern buildings, is located just off Orchard Road. This is a short alley with ancient business houses that have been rebuilt to cater to those seeking a tranquil or luxurious living while retaining its external flair. It's a peaceful street, not a sharp hill, that takes you on a fascinating, colorful, and soothing journey through old Singapore. Please bring your camera! It's hard to imagine that this road is only along Orchard Road and yet we have never noticed it.
This is primarily a residential street with older type homes. You can take some stunning photographs. At the start of the street, there are several bars, and it is close to the Orchard Road MRT station. You can get your retail remedy around the block once you've been here!
The Emerald Hill district is a must-see for anybody interested in Singapore's development and history.
This neighbourhood, which was developed in 1900 as affluent residences with some shophouses, is now a designated conservation area and is still predominantly a residential area.
Just a lovely and vibrant street with its row of neatly kept homes and lush trees and plants. While shopping on neighboring Orchard Road, this is a great place to visit. Emerald Hill has a relaxing atmosphere. Very relaxed and kid-friendly. The Boulevard is lined with bars and greenery.

On my way to the MRT, I came upon this hawker centre. One of the most excellent chicken rice meals I’ve had on this trip. There are no tourists in this area, so you can be confident that everything you eat here is authentic local cuisine.
You can’t beat this guy’s carrot cake for just three dollars, so if you’re in a hurry, wait in line for 10 minutes at 8 am to get your hands on it. Then, please grab a cup of coffee because everything from here was delicious, a fantastic bargain, and the service was straightforward and frank, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Our sources tell us that Bedok Interchange Hawker Center was recently revamped, making it a great place to sample some of Singapore’s best street food. Mala Xiangguo (stir-fry mala dish) is what drew me here, and the store is called ‘Mala Xiang Guo.’ In Singapore, this is the greatest mala we’ve ever had, and it’s a steal given the quality.
Portion sizes were precisely correct, and it wasn’t too oily or salty. Our bowl was wiped clean. While looking for mala, we stumbled across several other vendors that looked just as good. I’ll be returning to patronise other stalls here.
We tried a Halal Dim Sum business for the first time at 791 North Bridge Road and were pleasantly surprised by the cuisine’s high quality and delectable taste, which was on par with the non-halal options.
Even though they were overloaded, the staff responded quickly to our inquiry. As a sceptic, I wasn’t expecting it to measure up to other dim sum establishments. Still, the duck pancakes were outstanding, the dim sum was well-executed and flavorful, the rice was so lovely we took leftovers home, and the beef noodle soup was delicious – I’d gladly suggest it.
Cherry Garden, located at 5 Raffles Avenue, Marina Square, is a more expensive choice. My boyfriend and I went back to Cherry Garden for their weekend lunch dim sum buffet, and this time we took his family with us. All aspects of the eating experience were excellent. The dim sum variety was still as incredible as I remembered, and the food kept coming.
Abalone Siew Mai, roasted pork belly, braised beef brisket, and sweet and sour pork are some of my favourites. If you want to sample everything on the menu, I recommend coming with a larger party. Also, the sweets were excellent. We were blown away by the quality of the food.
We had a wonderful dim sum lunch. And that’s without even mentioning the fantastic customer service provided by your team. Particularly outstanding and polite is Ms Joy. I plan to return shortly!

Our Singaporean friends recommended the more expensive and upscale Imperial Treasure Steamboat Restaurant in ION Orchard, where we dined with them for an exciting steamboat meal. On the way there, our server showed us to a private area where we could have a good time while enjoying the delicious flavours of the various kinds of soup bases, as well as our creations of sauces using the great variety of ingredients available. It brought back fondue memories for us, which we hadn’t had in a long time, and the new cooking method was a hit with the whole family.
It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it if you want to have a memorable supper with friends on a special occasion. Adding plain rice to the pig bone broth and the drunken chicken soup base is a great way to enjoy it: All-natural, locally sourced ingredients. If you can afford it, this is a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends!:)
The executive set lunch at Fleur De Sel Le Restaurant on 64 Tras Street seemed sparse at first glance, yet we left full and satisfied. To observe Chef Alex in action in the kitchen, we ordered the Executive Set Lunch Menu and ate at the counter.
If you want to witness Chef Alex’s culinary prowess up close and personal, I strongly suggest sitting at the counter. Soup and some fried potato balls were presented as an Amuse Bouche. Don’t forget to eat the sourdough bread supplied with fresh butter and two different kinds of Fleur de Sel.
Figs caramelized in pan-seared foie gras served as an appetizer. You won’t feel any grease in your mouth because they were cooked to perfection. Despite the dish’s apparent simplicity, Chef Alex’s Seared Scallop with Saute Mushroom is a complex dish to pull off. A sip of this wine will make you feel like you’re relaxing on a beach in Nice, France.
The Origin Grill at Shangri-La Hotel’s 22 Orange Grove Road location offers another Executive Set Lunch. We opted for the three-course executive set lunch. As an appetizer, I had the salmon rillette, which was excellent. I also had a significant portion of tender beef served medium rare, which was my preference. Our meal came to a satisfying conclusion with an orange sponge dessert. I appreciated the staff’s flexibility because there was just one dessert option in the set lunch.
Chef Jacob was friendly and checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied with our meal. Chef Jacob went into great detail regarding the dish, which we appreciated. The chef’s thanks are much appreciated. As for the staff, we’d want to mention Rox, the server who looked after us so well during our meal.
Last but not least, the three-course lunch set is only 38++, which is a great deal considering the high quality of the food. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I want to return.

Today’s nails were gorgeous, and the service was top-notch from start to finish (unlike other salons, where I’d leave with a headache or drained).
This location truly stands out! The chairs are supportive, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Every time I visit, Tabby seems to get even more beautiful than the last time I saw her. Ladies, bring your man and park him at good luck beer house so you can have your manicure peacefully at Haji Lane. It’s a great day out!
Check out Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre and Market, where we discovered that the things sold at the market are affordable. On the other side, I adore the first level’s menu offerings which boasts a diverse selection of cuisines from around the world, and I have yet to make a wrong choice, fingers crossed! We came here to sample some authentic Singaporean congee that was raved about.
People were lining up to get their congee at one of the many stalls since there are competitors. Other stalls did not receive the same level of attention as this one. The congee was deliciously silky smooth, and the eatery was packed with tourists and residents.
The MRT station, bus stops, and taxi ranks are conveniently located nearby. Food at the hawker centre can be found in various varieties and at reasonable prices. Choosing this option allows you to prepare meals that are both simple and filling, all while staying within your budget.
In the vicinity of 2 Orchard Turn is the mammoth mall Orchard ION which isn’t just for the well-heeled anymore. You don’t have to break the bank to go. You may expect to see me there, as I enjoy photography and shopping! Because of the fantastic decorations, I prefer this location outside.
Many things are going on, so it’s constantly busy here! It’s a favourite hangout for locals and tourists, and there’s something for everyone’s budget. On the street level, Ion Orchard has a few high-end boutiques, but on its lower floors, you’ll find more budget-friendly options like Sephora and HM, as well as Daiso, where you can catch everything starting at $2.14. If you believe tourists are just ripped off by electronics, you'll be startled to learn that a several food centres have been gained an unpopular vote due to excessive hawking and overcharging by vendors.
It was all fine and dandy till there were far too many food stalls popping up selling the same food and drinks. This resulted in fierce competition and constant pitching by stall owners, who were frequently chastised for overpricing and lowering food quality.
Here's how this typical rip-off works; Many locals know about it but yet, several still fall for it. If you are a tourist, you are a target. Period. Okay, let's get started: So you are at a hawker center that is recommended by locals, you spot an exotic seafood stall, or some guy throws a menu at you telling you how great they are. You see chilli crab and go WOW. How much, you ask the guy. He tells you, "Oh, its $xxx per kilogram." And you think hmmm that seems fair. Later after you meal, you are slapped with a 4 digit bill in the thousands. This is not a fairy tale, just check online and you will see news reports of this happening rampantly.
1) The ploy here is that when they cook your food, obviously your food will shrink, So you will never get the weight or quantity of food you ordered.
2) The vendor will tell you that they have to weigh it first and check. And you are not sure how much you and your friends will consume. So both you and the vendor agree that you should order a rough portion for lets say, 5 persons. Little do you know that this is the core of the trap. If you are with a group of friends on holiday, or hosting clients, would you really want to go right up to the back kitchen and watch the weighing scale and measure the exact number of crabs or large river prawns and note the weight and price? It would look embarrassing wouldnt it? Well, the stall vendors know this and so they leverage on your ignorance. When the argument on the bill arrives, it is too late. You will get excuses about seafood shrinkage while cooking, and they will simply tell you that they did quote you the price per kilogram.
How do you protect yourself from this seafood trap? You can tell them you are only willing to pay $xxx max and you will pay nothing beyond that budget. And please, do not ever be shy to watch the weighing scale and note the amount and total price, this way there is no room for argument.
You get what you pay for, if you want to eat seafood in Singapore, be ready to spend. Most stalls do not have a fixed ala-carte pricing as fresh seafood is charged by the kilogram. Be a smarter eater, be a smarter spender, be a smarter tourist. We beg you!

Selling you an inferior product, bait and switch or missing parts
Think of the largest electronics mall in Singapore. Locals get good prices, tourist do not always. Even locals get ripped off.
Let's get started:
Trick 1: Bait and switch. You buy a camera, you get a spanking crispy box with it, nice packaging. The camera is swapped with a pristine display set that has been on the shelf for a year. The warranty does not match the serial number too. Always keep your eyes on your product. Insist on holding on to it, do not let them run around the shop with your product you are about to purchase. Observe the serial number and note it down. Make sure you leave with the exact same piece you were pitched.
Trick 2: They quote you $1999 for that new gaming laptop with the latest and greatest features. You agree, sign the dotted line and hand the salesperson your credit card. After your card is swiped and charged, he comes to you telling you there is no warranty, or even worse, you need to buy a high capacity battery because the default battery only lasts 20 minutes. How much is the "High capacity" battery? Oh, just another $599. "No warranty?!?", you exclaim. Yes no warranty. If you want warranty you have to pay another $300. There you have it. You took things for granted. Do your due diligence make sure he writes down every single accessory it comes with, and find out online first what the original accessories are.
Trick 3: You want to buy a Sony camera, but you end up with another inferior brand. They take a picture of you on the sony, set it to the lowest resolution with terrible exposure, and show you the picture. Then they take an inferior brand, set it to optimal settings and bang! You look great! He tells you to look at the difference, and out of fear and surprise at the supposed terrible quality of the picture, you agree to go with the cheaper inferior camera. You are convinced now. The inferior brand is better. He's "right" all along. Do not fall for this. His mark-up and profit is way higher on the inferior product. In Singapore, big brands like Sony have a recommended retail price. Always know the recommended retail price and do not pay for anything above that. And please do not trust a salesman. Their job is to make you part with your money. That is not to say every salesman is a crook of course! But if you venture into a shark infested building, get ready to be hustled!
Trick 4: You get an unbelievable ultra low price on a soundbar. You think great! You pay, and the deal is done. Or so you think. Then the upsell comes. He tells you, you need a high quality HDMI cable that is compatible with the soundbar, otherwise you cannot fully enjoy the real quality. He tells you that you need a subwoofer for Dolby support or some nonsensical alibi. Play the player or be played. Know what you want, go in, make your purchase and leave. Do not be upsold.

The one drawback is that the tour cars are excessively loud, and at times the experience takes on the feel of an amusement park attraction, complete with music and commentary. It was a pleasure to go through the jungle in such pleasant weather and marvel at the variety of wildlife. This track can be found between the highways utilized by the night safari shuttles. Unfortunately, to make it to the next performance, we had to sprint through half of the trail.

Mount Faber may be reached by cable car from the Harbourfront area. Explore the area before heading to Hort Park and the Canopy Walk. A full day of activities, refreshments and meals, so remember to bring these along. This is a more sedate area of Singapore.
It was well worth the trip. The metal walkways and treetops of the Henderson Waves (Mount Faber) to Kent Ridge are spectacular. It’s best to avoid this hike if it’s raining, as the metal pathways become incredibly slick, and being in the trees with nothing but metal can be dangerous during a rainstorm. It’s about a five-kilometre journey from beginning to end. I prefer to begin with a short climb up Mount Faber, located just outside Vivo city.
At the very least, there are four ways to get in, so check your GPS or Google Maps. Hikers can continue their journey from here to the Henderson wave, which looks like a long wave. The view of Telok Blangah from this point is spectacular. You can catch a beautiful sunset from this location if you’re lucky. Unfortunately, we didn’t see one as the timing was not in our favour. Moving farther, you’ll come across “tree top walk” aluminium decking. To the North of the Hort Park lies a second bridge, which may be reached through a short walk.
Flora and fauna adorn the area to make it an instagrammable spot. It’s possible to hike from Kent Ridge Park to Science Park, then to the Ayer Rajah Industrial Estate or even to the One North area, a corporate park with a few dining options. One North is the closest MRT station.

Mount Faber is a good area for a stroll, a hike, uphill leisure or intensive cycling. Perhaps you need a rest area from driving round the narrow spirals. Regardless, the Faber summit is ready to hand you delectable dining and and thirst quenching breaks, restroom stops, and picturesque scenes all around near its city's heart in the south. Without obstruction, you can view Singapore's to our port processing vessel dock and Sentosa on a clear day. The Telok Blangah house lights create a starry night vista of lights in the evening. A great place to walk or cycling all day.
A excellent walk towards the summit of Mount Faber is located on Singapore's southern edge. There are magnificent sights of Singapore and Sentosa from there. However, the 3rd Merlion of Singapore may be seen from the summit. This is an enjoyable hike with a pleasant rise. You should use the cable car to make things easier. The journey to the top, though, is still enjoyable. It was, however, one of the finest spots to explore Singapore for me, and I enjoyed seeing another Merlion.
As the sunlight glides dreamily over the skyline and nightfall descends much like a shawl over Singapore, relax and unwind with cocktails by the multitude of bars. It does get crowded with charter bus throngs - when I visited around lunch, it was very calm with only several hikers our and about prior to the tour chartered bus arrival.
St Andrew's Cathedral
One of Singapore's most prized architectural works is St Andrew's Cathedral. The grand facade, with expanded pinnacles and a shiny white surface, was designated as a historic site in 1973. Take a rest at The Cathedral Cafe, that's situated near to the City Hall Metro station and has free WiFi (North Bridge Road).
The foundation of British colonization in Singapore is a beautiful, shining white postmodern Anglican cathedral. The interior is a great blend of tones of azure with natural wood as well as white, while the outside façade is in a gorgeous shade of white sitting amongst beautiful and scenic greenery. This was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Singapore.

Lately, the island is well recognized for being a terrific destination to visit if you want to enjoy the outdoors and the ocean without having to deal with crowds. It's also known for having a lot of adorable and fluffy kitties! Catch the first boat to St John's Island and go across the walking trail to Lazarus Island to explore! Below are some of the activities available on the island.
I didn't expect to write any positive opinions on travels this year, but here's one worth publishing. One advantage of being stranded on a tiny island is the opportunity to explore another little island.
With imported pure white sand from Indonesia, Lazarus is one of, if not Singapore's, loveliest beaches. Despite the fact that there was a huge group over the local holidays, there's just adequate foliage to provide shade for everyone while maintaining safe distance.
The positive or negative news is that there is no food or drink available for purchase. Bring only what you need, and then pack up all of your trash. Bins, toilets, and showers are all located on St John's Island, which is about a 15-minute walk away.
The island was fantastic. Great day excursion, gorgeous beach that the cleaners maintained clean when we were there. It was like if I'd gone on a short vacation. It's a wonderful spot to unwind and escape from the stress of the urban jungle of Singapore. This will be a monthly weekend vacation.
